Ascension is currently seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ortho Neuro Trauma department at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.

Summary:

As an RN in the Ortho Neuro Trauma department, you will provide direct nursing care to patients as part of a collaborative healthcare team. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, coordinating discharge planning, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs

Requirements:

• Active registered nursing license from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
• BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
