Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and assess patients' response to respiratory treatments and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:

• License or Certification:
  • Current State License in Respiratory Therapy
  • CPR certification
  • ACLS certification preferred
• Education, Training, and Years of Experience:
  • 2 years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Physical Requirements:

• Good visual acuity and ability to communicate
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 30 pounds
• Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch

Environmental Conditions:

• Indoor, temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment
• Occasional outdoor exposure
