Details
As a part-time Respiratory Therapist, you will be working 24 hours per week on Shift 3 (1800-0630). This position is perfect for individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional care while maintaining a work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Assess and plan respiratory care services for patients
- Administer specialized treatments and medications
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
Requirements
- Graduation from an Advanced Level Respiratory Therapist Educational Program or a two-year Respiratory college
- Current CRT / RRT registration by N.B.R.C
- Current CT state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS certification, within 6 months of hire
- PALS or STABLE Certification and NRP certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
