Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Intensive Care Unit, you will provide direct nursing care and ensure the wellbeing of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Recording and communicating patient condition
• Coordinating patient care with other disciplines
• Carrying out physician and nursing orders
• Assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must have the following:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date
  • Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
• Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire
