Ascension is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension St Vincent's Birmingham in Alabama. As a Registered Nurse in Med Surg, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient condition
• Serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama
• BLS Provider certification
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
