• Shift Details: This is a 36-hour night shift position which requires working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Our Emergency Department has a Trauma Level II designation and is a primary Stroke and STEMI center. With 66 beds divided into multiple zones, including a separate Observation Unit, Fast-Track area, and Behavioral Health Crisis Unit, we provide exceptional care to our patients. Our culture of inclusivity, service, and teamwork extends throughout the department, from our dedicated Providers to our supportive Unit Secretaries and Techs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and standards of nursing practice.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the State of CT prior to start date.
• Associate's Degree required, BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of acute care RN experience.
• Active BLS certification.
