Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Monitor patient progress, document observations, and communicate effectively
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Connecticut
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum of one year acute care RN experience
• Current BLS certification
