Summary:

Encompass Health is currently seeking Registered Nurses for full-time and PRN positions in Hale Center, TX and surrounding areas. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to inpatients, assess patients, and create personalized care plans. You will supervise the activities of other care providers and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• Supervise LPN/LVNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on assigned unit and shift
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and report patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician
• Adhere to established policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• CRRN certification preferred
• Proficiency in using general office equipment and Microsoft Office software
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills
• Ability to work independently without continuous supervision
