Encompass Health, a leading provider of rehabilitative care, is seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to inpatients, assess patients, and create individualized plans of care based on their needs and goals. You will supervise the activities of care provided by LPN/LVNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on your assigned unit and shift. Communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential, as you will report patient concerns and changes in condition to your supervisor and/or physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Assess each patient's condition and develop a personalized plan of care.
  • Supervise care activities and treatment provided by LPN/LVNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff.
  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and report patient concerns and changes in condition in a timely manner.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or the appropriate licensure for your location.
  • BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
  • CRRN certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in using general office equipment and Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
