Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Psychiatric Clinician, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical care to adults with behavioral health diagnoses. Your duties will include:
- Performing psychiatric evaluations of inpatient patients to determine Mental Health/Substance Abuse care needs
- Providing direct clinical psychosocial therapy to patients, utilizing individual, group, and family therapies
- Assessing each patient's age-specific needs and treatment using the principles of growth and development
- Working independently with little to no supervision
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work required
- Active LCSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure in the state of Connecticut
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong documentation and computer skills
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Bilingual in Spanish or Polish preferred
- Knowledge of EPIC is a plus
