As an advanced practice provider, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with hospitalist physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive inpatient medical care. You will be responsible for managing patient care, ensuring timely communication, and delivering exceptional bedside care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient medical care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within the hospitalist medicine setting.
  • Collaborate with hospitalist physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans for treatment.
  • Coordinate and communicate with patients' primary care providers and specialists.
  • Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • ACLS certification is required.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
