As part of our Division of General Surgery, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services and work alongside experienced professionals.

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care, performing clinical assessments, managing post-operative follow-ups, coordinating patient care, and supporting quality initiatives. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting
• Conduct new patient consults and perform short and long-term post-operative follow-ups
• Coordinate patient care across multiple disciplines
• Assist with in-office procedures including skin and soft tissue mass excisions, incision and drainages, and complex wound care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Master's program
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
• Previous surgical experience in plastics, general, or colorectal surgery preferred
