As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner
• Delivering a variety of products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Building relationships with customers and meeting their needs and expectations
• Unloading and manually delivering products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.)

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a CDL Permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Physical ability to handle freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds (and up to 100 pounds)
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class
