Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the inpatient Behavioral Health program, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services
- Provide direct patient care tailored to each individual's needs
- Coordinate with various departments to meet milieu needs
- Collaborate with external clinical programs, environmental services, infection control, pharmacy, and security
- Oversee services with collaborative providers such as DMHAS and DCF
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field, Social Work preferred
- 1 year of supervisory experience and clinical insight
- 5 years of direct clinical practice preferred
- Current licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the State of CT
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual language skills preferred
Qualifications:
- Understanding of external regulatory agencies and requirements
- Ability to lead staff and implement process improvements
- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse
- Familiarity with local resources and internal/external systems
