Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the inpatient Behavioral Health program, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services
  • Provide direct patient care tailored to each individual's needs
  • Coordinate with various departments to meet milieu needs
  • Collaborate with external clinical programs, environmental services, infection control, pharmacy, and security
  • Oversee services with collaborative providers such as DMHAS and DCF

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field, Social Work preferred
  • 1 year of supervisory experience and clinical insight
  • 5 years of direct clinical practice preferred
  • Current licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the State of CT
  • Excellent communication skills, bilingual language skills preferred

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of external regulatory agencies and requirements
  • Ability to lead staff and implement process improvements
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse
  • Familiarity with local resources and internal/external systems
