Responsibilities

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer
• Manually unloading and delivering various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
• Building positive relationships with customers and becoming familiar with their operations
• Meeting customer needs and expectations on an assigned route schedule

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• 21+ years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• CDL Permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Physical ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend a CDL-A training class
