As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills needed to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and deliver various products to our valued customers.

Job Summary

In this role, you will build relationships with customers, deliver products on an assigned route schedule, and ensure customer needs and expectations are met. You will work closely with the SYSCO team and provide exceptional service with a positive and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer
• Manually unload and deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations
• Build relationships with customers and become familiar with their operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck

Requirements

• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a CDL permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Attendance at CDL-A training class, including time away from home
