Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care by conducting individual, couple, group, and family therapy sessions based on treatment plans.
- Prepare accurate and complete documentation to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Evaluate the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of clients, prioritize care and treatment, and advocate for appropriate resources.
- Deliver in-home clinical services, crisis intervention, and support to clients and families.
- Educate clients and their families on available resources and support groups to facilitate recovery and treatment processes.
- Collaborate effectively across programs to support clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Negotiate client level of care and length of stay with managed care companies.
- Work with internal and external partners to provide integrated healthcare delivery.
- Conduct Emergency Evaluations for clients in the community, if required.
- Participate in team meetings, provide clinical supervision to staff, and engage in ongoing self-improvement through learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing direct services to psychiatric and substance use population.
- Previous experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individual/group therapy.
- Active CT License in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Alcohol & Drug Counselor, or Marital & Family Therapy.
